An excellent introduction tool for integral calculus area calculation via a graphical representation of the sum of strips between a function and the x-axis.

Useful for both whole class display, or individual use, this fully flexible program supports students' first definite integral calculations. Through the clarity of the graphical representation, students become aware of the dynamics and the theory of evaluating integrals.

> The graph can be plotted of any function that can normally be graphed on the calculator.
> User can enter both the lower and upper limits.
> The window ranges are automatically calculated to provide clarity of graphical representation.
> The number of strips required can be entered
> Choice of strip length from minimum function value, maximum function value, always left value, always right value, midpoint value or trapezium construction.
> After graphing, the user can return to change any of the selected options and re-graph.
> The combined area of strips is displayed after each graphical update.
